Second post today ??
Will blogger let me post a second time today ??
Just wanted to show the actual state of my knitting...
I had to knit the toe few times to get it free of holes ... i'm not a big fan of toe up socks.
What's your way of knitting short row toes ? Wrapped stitches or YO? How do you fix holes ??
I love the pattern - Anne did a great job ;o)

Wow, that's one pretty sock!
I sure hope those are for me - he he!!
I love the socks and the little critter!
I start all my toe-up socks with a Turkish cast-on. Fluffy Knitter Deb has a great tutorial on her blog.
Love that sock! Hope you are my pal!
Oooooooh, I really do pray those are mine....drool, drool...
Pretty sock. I prefer toe up socks and use the easy cast on (also called Eastern and about 100 other names) to doing a short row toe. My favorite way to do short row heels is to do garter stitch instead of st. You wrap the stitches but when you get to the second half of the heel you DON'T pick up the wraps. And no holes. And they are squishy and look nice. Hee Hee! Sockapalooza!
wow, i totally dig these socks in the greens; brilliant choice, like corn in june . . .
Those are gorgeous!
What a lovely combination of pattern and yarn (color).
I really like toe up socks even though I've only ever knit one and it ended up that I couldn't get the sock past my heel and onto my leg - don't know what went wrong, but I liked that I could make the leg long and not have lots of scraps of yarn.
