Let the socks begin!

I got my sockpal's info and was too excited--had to cast-on right away. I am knitting a pair of Jaywalkers--I think the yarn I chose will look best in that pattern--here's hoping, at least! Those are some great links along the margin of the blog. I now have many many more socks that I want to make. But sockpal comes first. I'm almost an inch down the cuff and will begin the jaywalker pattern soon. Maybe some pictures later...
